The first is our major fundraiser, for which we are seeking 25 runners to take part in the Robin Hood Half Marathon in September 2023. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team and help us raise money and reduce stigma. Whether you are a seasoned runner or just starting out, we would love to have you join us! 

Join us on the 24th of September 2023 as we lace up our running shoes for the Nottingham Robin Hood Marathon! This year marks our 25th anniversary, and we're on a mission to raise awareness about addiction and combat the stigma surrounding it. We've already gathered an amazing group of individuals who are passionate about our cause. Together, we've created a WhatsApp group where we support each other, offer training advice, and schedule meet-ups.

One of our runners shared her story about why she's running for Double Impact: "Double Impact saved my dad's life. They gave him purpose and helped him find hope in the darkest of times. They not only brought back my dad, but also an incredible man determined to change his story and inspire others. Without Double Impact, I would have lost my dad forever. That's why I want to raise awareness for their important work and challenge myself beyond my comfort zone. I may not be a professional or regular runner, but I want to push myself just like Double Impact inspired my dad."
