Academy Team Leader

The Nottingham Recovery Network comprises of Framework Housing Association, Double Impact and Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The service is publicly funded and has been established to support people who use drugs and alcohol. We provide a single point of advice, support and treatment for anyone in Nottingham City who wishes to change their relationship with alcohol or drugs.

Academy Team Leader (Nottingham City Wellbeing Hub, Hounds Gate)

Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week
Salary: £38,682 per annum with progression opportunity to £46,580. Plus 35 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) increasing with service
Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role
As Team Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the Academy Service Manager in the day-to-day coordination and development of our innovative Academy Service. You’ll lead a dedicated, integrated team, providing clinical and professional leadership to ensure high standards of care, robust governance, and positive outcomes for our service users.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape service delivery, drive continuous improvement, and support individuals on their journey to recovery and independence.

Key Responsibilities
• Champion the possibilities of abstinence-based recovery and drive a culture of ambition and independence for all the beneficiaries of our service.
• Operationally manage and support a multidisciplinary team of up to 14 staff.
• Provide clinical leadership and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Oversee referrals, caseloads, and risk management processes.
• Act as the Safeguarding Lead for the Academy and Families & Carers Service.
• Deputies for the Academy Service Manager and contribute to strategic service development.
• Monitor performance data and contribute to service review reports.
• Foster strong partnerships with statutory and community organisations.

What We’re Looking For
• Significant experience working in the substance misuse field.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• Experience managing complex caseloads and challenging scenarios.
• Line management qualification (or willingness to work towards).
• Professional qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
