Salary: £35,490 with progression potential to £41,418 per year
Hours: Full-time


Role Overview


Double Impact is seeking a motivated Senior IPS Employment Specialist to lead and support a
team delivering high-quality employment support using the IPS (Individual Placement and
Support) model. This role combines leadership, service quality, and hands-on client support.


Key Responsibilities


Leadership & Team Support


Manage and maintain a high-quality IPS service in line with IPS best practice.

Supervise, coach, and support IPS Employment Specialists to meet targets and standards.

Provide monthly supervision, including caseload oversight and solution-focused

guidance.

Identify staff training needs and support continuous professional development.

Design and deliver internal training, peer learning and best practice sessions.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement.


Service Delivery & Employer Engagement

Manage a small caseload (10–15 clients)

Support the team to build strong employer relationships and access the hidden labour
market

Coordinate external partnerships, employer outreach, and job-seeking groups.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to remove barriers to service quality.


Quality, Feedback & Reporting


Produce monitoring reports for internal stakeholders and commissioners.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and create opportunities for service user feedback.
Support co-production by involving clients in shaping service developments.

About You

 Knowledge of the IPS model (or willingness to research it).
 Experience supporting people or helping them progress.
 Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
 Confidence approaching employers and driving employer engagement.
 Negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
 Understanding of substance use challenges.
 Enthusiasm, resilience and a target-driven approach.
 Excellent organisational, verbal and written communication skills.
 A full driving licence (essential).
   Experience in recruitment, transferable leadership skills, or personal/family experience of substance
