An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership, a vibrant new partnership delivering substance use treatment and recovery services across Lincolnshire from April 2024.

An innovative ‘Recovery First’ model underpins everything at Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership, with lived experience recovery fully integrated and visible throughout. Double Impact combine their specialism in lived experience and recovery with Framework Housing Association’s expertise supporting service users experiencing severe multiple disadvantage, together with Turning Point’s national experience as an outstanding substance use provider.

Lincolnshire’s residents will benefit from Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership’s highly integrated and highly localised approach, supporting with multiple issues across all parts of Lincolnshire, all from within the same partnership.

Recovery Coach

Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Based from Grantham and covering surrounding hubs (travel required at request to delivery sites within Lincolnshire)
Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday office hours (till 7pm Thursdays)
Salary: £24,000 per annum


We are looking for a new member to join our Lincoln team who will play a pivotal role within our Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership.

Working with the Lincolnshire team leader and the wider team to support service users to access the range of services that are available to them both internally and within their local communities. Enabling service users to build on their progress with the treatment services and develop their wider recovery capital and move toward a sustained recovery and independence.

You will deliver bespoke recovery plans, assessments, beneficiary supervisions, reviews and personal development plans. Working in a strengths-based way with a caseload of individuals to provide support and motivation around the aims and objectives set out within their Recovery and Personal Development Plans. The role will require the successful applicant to facilitate/deliver a range of non accredited personal development groups (training is provided).

Duties will include: -
• Supporting clients achieve their goals - ensuring all processes, procedures and recording are adhered too
• Carry out assessments of service users and facilitate the design of individually tailored recovery plans
• Champion the benefits and possibilities of ‘abstinent’ based recovery
• Connecting with individuals in treatment to access the Recovery Service and subsequently onto the Academy learning pathway
• Facilitating our recovery focused groups including peer-led mutual aid and recovery themed psycho-educational groups (full training provided)
• Have an ambitious attitude for all our service users and what people can achieve in recovery

The successful candidate will ideally have:
• Relevant experience of working with people in the drugs and alcohol treatment/recovery fields
• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
• Excellent IT skills and ideally experience of recording information on data base systems
• Understanding of drug and alcohol addiction and the Treatment/Recovery thereof.
• Knowledge or personal experience of abstinent based recovery models
• A genuine passion for working with people with substance use problems and for recovery
• Can do attitude and positive mind set
